Experience Art

Our art apps are designed to help you discover, experience and collect art that you love.

They empower you to optimize and personalize your art experiences by providing:

• a directory of artists and venues
• navigation via Google Maps
• an individual landing page for each artist or venue
• images of up to three pieces that you might see during a visit
• a description, bio or statement from the artist or venue
• a link to the artist or venue's website (if they have one)
• contact info (phone number, email)
• a link to our online marketplace (for a curated selection of artists only)
• social media sharing

All our art apps are free to download and enable browsing, navigating and sharing using any web-enabled mobile device or personal computer. Some apps can also be downloaded for free from i-Tunes for Apple iPhones, iPads, and devices that run on Google’s Android software. 

Currently, New Art Love is piloting our apps at "Open Studios" events. Our initial apps have leveraged these weekend long events hosted by individual artist communities to enable art lovers to connect meaningfully with artists from those communities. As our social enterprise expands, stay tuned for apps that will help you discover and experience artwork at art walks, art fairs, galleries, museums and performing arts venues as well!

Open Studios Apps

"Open Studios" are community-organized events that invite the public into the private studios of local artists. They provide a unique opportunity for art lovers to engage personally with artists and to experience art from emerging artists that may not yet be represented in galleries or other venues.

New Art Love’s Open Studio Apps help you make the most of these exciting events. They empower you to browse through participating artists, learn about their work and plan your visits beforehand, as well as to navigate in the moment, discover artists on the fly, and share your favorites through social media.

Even after the artists close their studio doors, New Art Love enables you to stay connected. We feature a selection of work from Open Studios artists on our online marketplace, which makes it easier to purchase art in the studio and possible to reconnect with your favorite pieces even after the event is over. 

So far, New Art Love has piloted Open Studios Apps in Boston’s South End and Cambridge. We are currently working with the Allston Arts District to provide an app for their event on November 9^th and 10th. If you are affiliated with an artist community that would like to enhance its events through an Open Studios app, please contact us at team@newartlove.com. Venues App

New Art Love is working to bring you an app that provides a comprehensive guide to galleries and museums in the greater Boston area. The app will enable users to find and visit all Boston venues, as well as to preview exhibitions presented by our venue subscribers. 

For venues that subscribe to our services, exhibition information will be updated with each new installation. Furthermore, subscribers will have the opportunity to include their collections on our online marketplace, making it easier for people to reconnect with the pieces that they wish to collect.
